Another artistic Destiny 2 fan has outdone themselves by creating a piece of fan art that mashes the popular shooter with another property, in this case one owned by Disney. This latest mash-up shows an interesting take one what Ariel from The Little Mermaid might look like if she donned some of Destiny’s Guardian gear and joined in the fight for the Traveler. The piece itself was designed by artist @KevinRages, who has drawn a good amount of Destiny 2 related fan art in the past in a couple of different styles....

The Halo Infinite dev team’s recent update apparently has a hidden message for fans of the series. In a brief showcase, one Redditor noticed something fishy and extracted an audio log from Halo 5, containing a dialogue between major characters from the previous entry. 343 Industries held another Inside Infinite installment recently, showcasing development progress and sharing more intel on Halo Infinite’s new setting, Zeta Halo. However, what’s most interesting, is that 343 seems to have placed a secret audio log in the post that could easily be missed....

Call of Duty: Mobile is so profitable for Activision that they’ve decided to just go ahead and make another one. That’s according to recent job listings, which also reveal the existence of a brand new mobile-focused studio in Santa Monica, California. It’s called Activision Mobile–an unimaginatively named studio that’s “dedicated to developing the best AAA mobile games in the world.” Several new job ads show that the studio is hiring for pretty much every role imaginable, indicating that this new project is set to rapidly proceed once all positions are filled....

It’s hard to believe Ico will be 20-years-old later this year. Fumito Ueda’s 2001 masterpiece was my introduction to thinking a little more critically about the intersection of play and how we process and engage with stories. Ico presents a stripped-down tale of childhood love and loss but asks that we engage with it a little differently than other games of its era. I regard Ueda’s painfully emotional trilogy as some of my favorite games, and even if Ico isn’t at the top of the three, it introduced me to themes and design choices that shaped my understanding of what games could be....

Gaming fans who have been meaning to check out Alan Wake, but have yet to do so had better act fast, because its developer Remedy Entertainment has officially announced that the psychological horror action-adventure game is set to be removed from all digital storefronts on both Xbox and PC platforms on May 15, 2017, giving fans the rest of the weekend to purchase it. According to Remedy, the reason for the title’s removal from digital marketplaces is due to the expiration of the developer’s rights to the licensed music that makes up part of the game’s soundtrack....

While playing a preview of Quantum Break, gaming website Polygon discovers a TV that plays a live-action trailer for the rumored Alan Wake’s Return project. After five long years in development, Remedy Entertainment is finally gearing up to launch Quantum Break on PC and Xbox One. And as it turns out, the company may already be planning their next lengthy gaming venture, as Quantum Break reportedly contains a direct reference to the long-rumored sequel to Alan Wake....
