The sixth season for the free-to-play battle royale Apex Legends releases in less than a week. Season 6: Boosted will introduce new features to Apex Legends with weapon crafting stations, dynamic map changes, a new weapon, plenty of skins and of course the newest playable legend, Rampart. The trailer shows off some of Rampart’s abilities and two of her brutal executions. Rampart’s abilities allow her to set up her turret and deploy amped cover, and at one point in the trailer, Rampart deploys three turrets and amped covers to let her teammates have some fun as well....

Blizzard is planning on hosting two events in Asia and North America for the traditional Overwatch League All-Stars weekend. Both events will include several formats, including a Talent Takedown, a Widowmaker 1v1 Tournament, the All-Stars Game, and numerous other game mode competitions. The OWL 2020 All-Stars will be held over two weekends. On September 26, the first event will kick off at 1 AM PT in Asia. On October 3, the second event will get underway in North America at 12 PM PT....

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was finally officially revealed this week, and fans all over are excited for the next chapter in the series. A few of the rumors and leaks leading up to the reveal have now been confirmed, including the fact that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is based on Viking-life and soaked in Norse history. Players will take control of Eivor and set sail from Norway to England in Valhalla, raiding and pillaging along the way, and making a settlement in the British Isles....

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was ridiculously large. A rotund game. A wide lad. It offered players Ancient Greece in its entirety, allowing you to sail a ship from island to island to explore sun-dappled shores and bustling cities. Some of this scale was to its detriment - no matter where you went, you’d see the same buildings, the same quarries, the same fields and beaches. Infinity Ward just recently released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Battle Royale mode, Warzone. In it, one hundred fifty players duke it out on a single map for the top spot. It adds variety to an already bustling multiplayer suite, and has so far left extremely positive impressions on those who played it. In fact, some might say it is the best the game has to offer. While this may be true for some, others still prefer the smaller-scale Gunfight mode which launched with the game back in October....
